Core Values

The electrical workers and staff here at Local 81 understand that achieving and maintaining our high standard of living is directly connected to key investments. Skilled craft training, ongoing education, community support and civic responsibility all work hand in hand to ensure that the electrical professionals here in northeastern Pennsylvania not only meet the industry standards, but consistently exceed and set them. It’s for this reason that the leading electrical contactors who look to us for support are the most successful in the region.

The chapter was removed in February after 27 Republican state attorneys general pressured the center to retract it, leaving federal judges without a peer-reviewed resource on climate science at a time when climate litigation is rapidly expanding in U.S. courts.
